Actor Dhanush met with athelete Vithya Ramraj, after the latter won three medals at the recently concluded Asian Games 2026. At the Asiad, Vithya Ramraj won medals for the relay and hurdles event.
Vithya took to social media to share some photos of the meeting, which saw Dhanush meeting with herself, her coach Nehpal Singh, and her parents. Vithya also captioned the post by writing, "Happy to meet dhanush Sir , thank you for the motivation."
After winning two silver medals and one bronze medal at the 2022 Asiad, conducted at Guangzhou, Vithya returned to 2026 Asiad, which is held at the Aichi prefecture and its captial city Nagoya, in Japan.
Vithya won the gold medal for the 4 x 400 m women's relay race won the silver medal for the 4 x 400 m mixed relay race, as part of the Indian team. Vithya also won the bronze medal in the 400 m hurdles at the Asiad.
At the Asiad 2026, India won a total of 85 medals including 21 gold medals.
