The Nivas K Prasanna composed single, 'Iruvar', was unveiled on Wednesday. The single has lyrics by Vijay Sethupathi and features the vocals of Sooraj Santhosh and Aditi Shankar.
'Iruvar' is conceived and directed by Kumaran, who has previously directed the 2019 film Jada. Speaking about 'Iruvar', through a statement to the press, he said, "After directing Jada, I wanted to explore another dimension of storytelling. I have always believed that music has the extraordinary power to communicate emotions that sometimes cannot be expressed through dialogues. That thought became the foundation for 'Iruvar'. The idea was to create a musical presentation that is simple, emotionally engaging and relatable to audiences. Love and relationships are universal emotions, but the way they are expressed through music can make every story feel unique."
Speaking about his collaborators on the project, Kumaran said, "I am extremely happy to have Nivas K Prasanna and Aditi Shankar associated with this project. Nivas is a wonderful composer who understands the emotional language of music, and Aditi brings her own charm and freshness to the presentation. What makes ‘Iruvar’ even more special is Vijay Sethupathi sir's contribution as the lyricist. His understanding of human emotions and his creative perspective bring a beautiful dimension to the song. Having an artist of his calibre contribute to this musical has been truly special. Sooraj Santhosh and Aditi have added immense life to the composition through their vocals.
