Actor Suriya has often spoken about the importance of hard work and perseverance, and his latest message to fans was centred on the belief that life always offers an opportunity to begin again. Speaking at the audio and trailer launch of his upcoming film Scene, the actor encouraged his fans not to consider anything a defeat as long as they were alive.

“Believe in life. Life is beautiful. What I believe in is that as long as we breathe, everything is subject to review. Everything can be changed. Everything can be corrected,” he said. Emphasising that merely visualising one's ambitions was not enough, Suriya urged his fans to put in the effort required to achieve them. “We had told you that what you manifest, you will become. But don't stop with just manifestation alone. Work hard at what you want to achieve. Work for it at the grassroots level,” he said.

He went on to add that setbacks should not be treated as the end of the road. “As long as you breathe, nothing is a defeat, nothing has ended, nothing has broken. You can set right everything. You can make a comeback. You can start from the beginning again and set things right. Believe in life. Life is beautiful,” he said.

Directed by Jithu Madhavan, Scene stars Suriya as Inbaraj, a police officer who decides to resign from the force. The film's trailer opens with his decision taking his seniors, colleagues and subordinates by surprise. It also offers a glimpse of Nazriya Nazim as Maya, who turns up after Inbaraj puts out an advertisement seeking a house help. Meanwhile, Naslen plays Eeswaran, a ruthless criminal who considers Inbaraj a worthy opponent.
