While cinema can influence culture of the masses, it is also a reflection of the culture of the current generation. In a recent interview with CE, Mysskin reflected on the importance of films in shaping children.
When asked about the decline of feel good films for children of the current era, Mysskin commented that it was a result of the evolution in culture of the larger demographic. While noting that the communal nature of Indian societies, which included checking in your neighbours' welfare, was at a decline, he also noted that children spend lesser time with people of the older generations, leading to lesser wisdom being imparted.
He said, "The most important thing is that we should take very good care of our kids. If a child is capable of killing another child, then the child who committed the act has a great pain within them. We should find that pain.
