Actor and brother of Atharvaa, Akash Murali, is set to star in a new film, written and directed by debutant Harsha Varathan. The actor made his debut with Vishnu Vardhan's romantic drama Nesippaya, opposite Aditi Shankar.
The film is produced by Raahul by Romeo Pictures. Interestingly, this was the banner that served as the distributor to the actor's Nesippaya. The untitled film was launched by Minister for Film Technology and Cinematograph Act, Rajmohan.
Romeo Pictures has distributed films such as Nerkonda Paarvai, Valimai, Nenjuku Needhi, Veetla Vishesham, Thunivu, The Greatest Of All Time, Good Bad Ugly, Kuberaa, and Paranthu Po.
Akash Murali's debut film Nesippaya opened to mixed reviews. The romantic film was praised for its premise, interesting ideas, and music, but was criticised for its predictability and tonal inconsistencies.
The new film's title, star cast, and technical crew are yet to be announced.
