Gautham Ram Karthik and Manjima Mohan have become the latest celebrities to commend director-actor RJ Balaji and Suriya's film Karuppu. Taking to social media, Gautham wrote, "I still can't believe what I just watched... I left the theatre with the visuals of of the movie ingrained in my head, the music still playing in my ears, and the performances still stirring such emotion in my heart."
Describing the film as "a masterfully made entertainer," Gautham appreciated Suriya's performance in the film with fire emoticons. "Whenever he appeared on screen, I couldn't take my eyes off him. And the climax," the actor wrote about the film's lead actor. He also expressed his appreciation for Sai Abhyankkar. "Your music moved me and the entire audience powerfully," he wrote, referring to the composer's work.
On the other hand, regarding Trisha, Gautham said that she carried her "character with such grace and finesse". Finally, regarding RJ Balaji, he expressed pride in what the actor-director has achieved.
"A huge thank you to Dream Warrior Pictures, SR Prabhu sir and the entire team for such a exciting cinematic experience," wrote Gautham in his Karuppu review.
On the other hand, Gautham's actor spouse Manjima Mohan took to her Instagram Stories space to appreciate the film. "What a theatrical experience! Suriya sir, what an aura you have on screen!!! Forever your fan. Loved every bit of this film," Manjima Mohan wrote.
Referring to RJ Balaji, Manjima wrote, "You my friend killed it!!! You deserve every bit of the love and appreciation you are receiving." And about Trisha, she added, "Loved you in the film!! You looked Gorgeous."
She expressed her appreciation for Sai Abhyankkar's music with fire emoticons. Concluding her thoughts, the actor wrote, "Congratulations to SR Prabhu sir on this massive success."
Speaking of which, Karuppu has raked in 175.96 crore from theatres worldwide, according to data from Sacnilk.
