Filmmaker Bala has congratulated former actor and Tamil Nadu Chief Minister C Joseph Vijay on his impressive political debut in the 2026 Tamil Nadu Assembly Elections.
In his official note, Bala quoted the Bhagavad Gita verse that says to fight those who oppose you and win even if they are your kith and kin. He went on to counter it with what he believes is 'Political Gita' and said that in politics, even after winning against someone, you need to make them your brothers.
He said this to praise Vijay, who visited his political opponents after swearing in as the Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu. He ended the note wishing that Vijay would give a governance that would amaze the whole of India.
On the work front, Bala last made Vanangaan (2025), starring Arun Vijay, Ridha, Roshni Prakash, Samuthirakani, Mysskin, and Shanmugarajan.
