Actor and director T Rajendar penned a note condoling the demise of producer RB Choudhary. The producer passed away on Tuesday, after being involved in a car crash in Udaipur, Rajasthan.

T Rajendar wrote, "He entered the Tamil film industry as a producer and brought forth a fresh wave of cinema. He was someone who introduced many new directors to Tamil cinema. For every aspiring debut filmmaker, he was a refuge. That is why the Tamil film industry embraced him as a place of pride."

Listing some of his popular productions, Rajendar continued, "Looking at the films he produced—Pudhu Vasantham, Poove Unakkaga, Thulladha Manamum Thullum, Nattamai, and many more—he consistently delivered memorable works. It was he who produced the film Suryavamsam. He always believed that a strong story should be at the heart of filmmaking."

The Mythili Ennai Kaathali actor who recently visited the sets of Magudam, further lamented about his untimely death, "He was working on his 99th film, Magudam. Had he completed just one more, he would have reached the milestone of 100 films. He might even have lived to celebrate a hundred years. But before he could be crowned with that achievement in the world of art, death claimed him."

Giving a word of reassurance to his family, T Rajendar concluded, "Under the name of an accident, fate played a cruel game in his life. His passing deeply pains the heart. I extend my condolences and heartfelt sympathies to members of the film industry and to his family, who are grieving his loss. I pray to the Almighty that his soul rests in peace."

Starting his career in 1988, RB Choudhary went on to produce films in Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, Kannada, and Hindi. His collaborations with Sarath Kumar, Vijay, and Venkatesh have been well received by audiences across languages.
