Ken Karunaas's directorial debut, Youth, is currently running in theatres. The film has received positive responses from audiences, and several actors including Silambarasan TR, Suriya, and Karthi have appreciated the movie and the team behind it. This appreciation has led to viral posts about the movie across social networking platforms.

Meanwhile, Gaana singer Dinesh's song 'Naan Aasai Patta Ponnu Peru Monisha' is trending once again thanks to its use in Youth and to its popularity. However, Dinesh recently met with the press and media to allege that the song is used in Youth without his permission, and hence it should be removed from the film.

Notably, Dinesh described the use of the track in the movie as a case of 'theft'. In response to Dinesh's allegations, the Youth team clarified that the rights to the song are held by the company Divo Music and that they used it in the movie only after paying the requisite fees and obtaining proper authorisation.

Coming back to Youth, the film also stars Anishma Anilkumar, Devadarshini Chetan, Suraj Venjaramoodu, Priyanshi Yadav, Meenakshi Dinesh, and Abison Thevarasa. It has music composed by GV Prakash. According to the box office tracker Sacnilk, Ken Karunaas' debut directorial has brought in a total India gross collection of around 25 crore.
