

Last seen in a lead character in Middle Class, actor Munishkanth will next headline The Dorm, which went on floors on Monday.
Directed by Deepa Sridhar, the film also stars Shalini, Kasi Thangam, Sabareesh, Arun Karthik, Sam John, Nikil Nair, Vasundhara Srinath, Sindhu, and Feroze.
The film, produced by B Dilli of Good Stuff banner, has cinematographer Ilayaraja, music composer Sam Vishal, editor Anil Krishnan, and art director Vimal Raj. While the genre is not yet revealed, the makers say that the film has something for every age.
Munishkanth was seen in Red Label, Mylanji, Thaai Kizhavi, and Vadam so far this year. He was praised for his role of Pennycuick in Thaai Kizhavi, starring Radikaa Sarathkumar in the lead, for a humorous and emotional performance. In his last lead role in Middle Class, he played a family man, Karl Marx, hard-pressed for money, who is presented with a fortuitous opportunity that could change his life of better, before tragedy strikes. The film also starred Vijayalakshmi, Kaali Venkat and Radha Ravi.
