Actor Silambarasan TR, who is busy filming for Vetri Maaran's Arasan, has taken time to watch and appreciate Ken Karunaas' latest film Youth, which released on Thursday.
The actor on his social media post wrote that the film was "fresh, vibrant, and full of heart." Further in his note, the actor stated that the film "A story that truly resonates with today's generation."
Appreciating the cast and crew of the film, STR wrote, "Superb performance by Ken, you've truly delivered thambi. Acting and directing at such a young age and making it this engaging is truly impressive. Loved your moments with Suraj sir and Devadarshini mam. Anishma, Meenaxi, and Priyanshi Yadav brought great energy to the film."
He also praised the music composer GV Prakash, saying, "The music elevates every moment beautifully." Exhorting audiences to watch the film, STR asked people not to miss the film in theatres. Interestingly, Ken plays an STR fan in Youth.
The coming-of-age comedy drama stars Ken in his debut as the lead. The film received mostly positive reviews. An excerpt from the CE review reads, "In Youth, Ken gets most things right and shines as a director, especially in the way he has extracted performances. While the kids are all right in this film, it is Suraj and Devadarshini who really steal the show in the last act with their restraint and subtlety."
