We had reported earlier that Kalaiyarasan starrer Kolaiseval will get a theatrical release on March 13. The makers of the upcoming drama dropped the trailer on Friday.

The under-two-minute trailer glimpse begins with a voice-over of an old woman who says they have to visit their ancestral deity's temple, a pregnant goddess, as the female lead (Deepa Balu) is pregnant and praying to the goddess during such time is considered good luck. However, the protagonist (Kalaiyarasan) and his family come under attack in the temple. Deepa Balu's character tells Kalaiyarasan's character that she feels that she has already come here before. This suggests that a woman like her would have come here and lost her life, thereby being deified. The reason why the protagonist's family is being targeted is not yet disclosed.

The film also stars Balasaravanan, Aadhav Chanra, Gajaraj, Akaran Venkat, and Vijay Sathiya. Produced by RP films' RP Balu and Kousalya Bala, Kolaiseval is directed by VR Thudhivaanan.

The technical crew of the film comprises cinematographer PG Muthiah, music composer Santhan, editor Ajay Manoj, art director Saravana Abhiraman, and stunt director Danger Mani.
