Actor Aari Arujunan's Fourth Floor opened in theatres on Friday, but it has been allocated very few theatre screens. Recently, at a press meet in Dindigul, the actor has addressed the issue of screens not being provided for small Tamil films.

The actor reportedly said, “It is shameful that a film made by a Tamil filmmaker in Tamil Nadu cannot be released. Theatres in malls do not allocate space for small films with good stories. If we ask why, they say the publicity is not enough. Only films with heavy promotion are given priority. Other films are sidelined. Whether a film is good or not should be decided by the people.”

Further, he also compared it to another release this Friday, Thaai Kizhavi. "The producer of Thaai Kizhavi is actor Sivakarthikeyan. He has the power, the financial means, and the strategy to advertise. But the producer of my film is someone who wanted to make a good film by doing his own business from Tiruppur. He has done whatever he can for a film within his power. But the malls allocate screens only for popular films," he explained.
