The second single from Vishal's debut directorial venture, Magudam, has been released. Titled 'Nachindhi Machanane' ('Nachchaake Vachera' in Telugu), the song is composed by GV Prakash Kumar, who has worked on the film's music.
'Nachindhi Machanane' features lyrics with a blend of Tamil and Telugu, with the video hinting at Anjali's characer having a Telugu origin. Mangili and Velmurugan have sung 'Nachindhi Machanane', which has lyrics by K Ekadesi.
While sharing the song through his social media handle, Vishal also wrote, "Met my lovely fans/friends. After a gap. This love has no boundaries likewise. Always indebted to u all. Now heading to the launch event of the second single of Magudam/Makutam."
He added, "This is what I always loved to watch in my favourite hero’s films always. The massy folk number. Yes it’s time for the supa peppy folk number from darling GV Prakash choreographed by my fav Brinda master featuring Anjali and LINGA (Vishal's character in Magudam). Let the beats take over. Let the celebrations begin. The colourful 'Nachindhi Machanane'/'Nachchaake Vachera' is here for all u lovelies."
The cast of Magudam also includes Dushara Vijayan, John Vijay, Jayaprakash, Ajay, Vamsi Krishna, Abu Salim, Arjai, VJ Jhansi, Padam Kumar, and Sabhumon, among others.
The crew of the film includes directors of photography Richard M Nathan and Abinandhan Ramanujam, editor NB Srikanth, art director G Durairaj, and action choreographer Dhilip Subbarayan.
The late RB Choudhary has been credited as the presenter for the film, whose Super Good Films banner is backing Magudam, in its 99th production venture. The late producer's sons B Suresh, RB Jeevan Choudary, actor Jithan Ramesh, and actor Jiiva are credited as producers for the film.
