Vikram, who was last seen in Veera Dheera Sooran: Part 1, is currently involved in the shoot of Chiyaan 63 from filmmaker Anand Shankar. The actor recently found himself in the centre of massive fame, not for his film roles or for a statement that he said, but for an casual Instagram reel that he posted for his 60th birthday on April 17.
The video that has him posing in different scenarios had amassed over seven million views and almost 95,000 comments praising his physique, training and for looking young. Talking about how the video was shot, Dhruv Vikram, in a recent event, shared, "My father never poses for videos or photos. I forced him and shot this reel." The actor had also commented under his father's reel, saying, "Endrendrum Chiyaan. Happy birtdhay pa."
Since then, numerous content creators have recreated the famous moment in humorous and imaginative ways, placing the actor in a variety of comic situations. Interestingly, The Kerala Police's official Instagram handle recreated the video as an anti-drug awareness message, featuring Malayalam actor Jibin Gopinath of Dies Irae and Kalamkaval fame.
On the work front, his upcoming film Chiyaan 63 also stars Samyuktha Hegde (Kirik Party, Comali, Manmadha Leelai). The film marks a reunion between the actor and director, a decade after they collaborated on Iru Mugan. Meanwhile, Dhurv Vikram was last seen in Mari Selvaraj's Bison: Kaalamaadan.
