Actor Sananth opened up about his upcoming film, Heartin, working with the film's director, Kishore, and the female leads, Madonna Sebastian and Emaya, at the film's press meet event on Tuesday.
He began his speech with a personal request to members of the media. “Before I speak, I have one request. My name is Sananth. Some publications add a caste title along with my name while writing about me. I request you not to do that,” he said. Notably, the actor's Wikipedia page also mentions his name as Sananth Reddy.
Moving on to the film, Sananth described Heartin as a breezy and feel-good film that goes beyond being just another romance. He recalled that when director Kishore first narrated the script, he initially assumed it would be a straightforward love story. However, during filming, he realised that the narrative had multiple layers and deeper emotional undercurrents.
“Only after working on the film and now seeing the final output did I understand how deep the emotions are. The film has eventually come out as something far more profound,” he said.
Talking about director Kishore, Sananth joked that while he may appear soft-spoken, he becomes extremely demanding once work begins. “He looks very soft, but on set he’s a terror. Shoots start at 5 am and continue till 11 pm,” he said with a laugh.
He further spoke about sharing screen space with the film’s female leads and said his experience with Imaya and Madonna Sebastian went beyond acting. “I genuinely feel like I fell in love with both of them—not beyond the film, but with their performances and the experience of working together. " I think audiences will also feel that sincerity when they watch the film,” he said.
Calling Heartin an emotionally honest film, Sananth requested audiences to support it in theatres upon its release on June 26. “This is my first film as a full-fledged lead actor. You have supported me in all my previous films, and I hope you continue to support me for this one too,” he said.
