

Amidst rumours circulating on actor Prabhu's health, the actor's team have confirmed that they are untrue and that he is "hale and healthy."
The actor, who has played varied roles in multiple South Indian languages over the last four decades, continues to be active in the industry, taking up small, but pivotal roles in films.
In 2025, he was seen in small roles in films like Vishnu Vardhan's Nesippaya, Adhik Ravichandran's Good Bad Ugly, Rajaputhiran where he starred alongside Vetri, and Kavin's Kiss.
Up next, he will be seen in a key role in Karthi's Marshal, directed by Tamizh of Taanakkaran fame. Backed by Dream Warrior Pictures, Marshal also stars Kalyani Priyadarshan as the female lead. Sathyaraj, Prabhu, John Kokken, Lal and Easwari Rao are also set to play important roles.
Recently, Prabhu, his son Vikram Prabhu and son-in-law Adhik Ravichandran personally met newly-elected Chief Minister Vijay and shared their heartfelt wishes for his successful tenure.
