Blast box office: After eleven days in theatres, Blast the action drama starring Arjun in the lead, has crossed Rs 50 crores in collections, worldwide. Directed by debutant Subash K Raj, the film also stars Abhirami and Preity Mukhundhan in the lead.
The film has collected Rs 58.21 crores worldwide in theatres. The film collected Rs 5.04 crores on Sunday, after a profitable run on the second Friday, where it collected Rs 2.45 crores, and Saturday, where it collected Rs 4.35 crores.
The story of Blast follows a family of fighters who is embroiled in a larger conspiracy, and is forced to go up against a crime syndicate in a fight for survival.
The cast of Blast also includes Vivek Prasanna, John Kokken, Arjun Chidambaram, Pawan, and Dileepan, among others. Ravi Basrur who is known for his work in the KGF franchise, makes his Tamil debut as a music composer with Blast.
