With the release slated for June 5, the Parimala and Co makers announced that the film has cleared the censorship formalities and obtained a U/A certificate from CBFC.
The film, starring Jayaram and Urvashi, looks to follow the titular family caught in the mess after the reports of a gangster's death under mysterious circumstances. Following this, the family members suspect each other of committing it. Parimala and Co marks the reunion of Jayaram and Urvashi after Panchathanthiram (2002).
The Pandiraaj directorial feature film also stars Sanjana Krishnamoorthy, Ananthika Sanilkumar, Yogi Babu, Sandy, Mysskin, Poornima Ravi, and GKM Tamilkumaran. Produced by Lyca Productions, the film's technical team of Parimala and Co comprises cinematographer George C Williams, music composer Foxn, editor Pradeep E Ragav, and stunt choreographer Kalai Kingson.
Pandiraaj previously helmed Thalaivan Thalaivii, starring Vijay Sethupathi and Nithya Menen. Meanwhile, Jayaram starred alongside his son Kalidas in Aashakal Aayiram. Urvashi's last feature was a Dileep-starrer, Prince and Family.
