Sasikumar faces trouble with his conscience as he is tasked with a murder mystery in the trailer of Vadhandhi season 2. Vadhandhi is created, written and directed by Andrew Louis, with Suzhal creators Pushkar-Gayathri serving as producers under their Wallwatcher films.
The trailer shows the series shifting focus from Kanyakumari in season 1 to Madurai in season 2. When skeletal remains are found at a highway site, an evasive Mani is attached to the crime and arrested. While some evidence points to him, Sasikumar's SI Moosa Raaza wants to dig more. As Mani refuses to open his mouth to either agree to guilt or deny it, Moosa's conscience prickles him to conclude the case with him as the perpetrator.
The cast of the second season sees the return of Vivek Prasanna, along with Yashwanth, Anagha Maruthora, Aparna Das, Revathy Sharma, and Arjun Nandhakumar, among others.

The first season of Vadhandhi starred SJ Suryah, Laila, Nassar, Sanjana Krishnamoorthy, and Vivek Prasanna, among others. It followed the disappearance of a young girl, named Velonie, and the subsequent investigation which leads to shocking revelations.
Season 2 of Vadhandhi, with the tagline "the mystery of Mani", is scheduled to premiere on Prime Video on August 7.
