The makers of Vishal's upcoming film Magudam, which he also directs, have released the second single titled 'Kalangathey' on Monday. Earlier, the first single 'Nachindhi Machane' was unveiled.
The second single, revolving around a family man's challenges as he gets buffeted around by society, is composed and sung by GV Prakash Kumar with lyrics from Karunakaran L.
Starring Vishal in the lead, the film also stars Anjali, Dushara Vijayan, John Vijay, Jeya Prakash, Ajay, Vamsi Krishna, Abu Salim, Arjai, Vj Jhansi, Padam Kumar and Sabhumon. The film, produced by Super Good Films, started with Ravi Arasu as the director. He quit the film due to creative differences, with Vishal replacing him.
With GV Prakash as the composer, the technical team of Magudam comprises Richard M Nathan and Abinandhan Ramanujam, editor NB Srikanth, art director G Durairaj and stunt director Dhilip Subbarayan. The late RB Choudhary has been credited as the presenter for the film, whose Super Good Films banner is backing Magudam, in its 99th production venture. The late producer's sons B Suresh, RB Jeevan Choudary, actor Jithan Ramesh, and actor Jiiva are credited as producers for the film.
Vishal's Magudam is set for a theatrical release on August 14.
