Actor Vijay Sethupathi shared a poster from Neelam Students Movement that asks people to "stand with CJP student protest" and demands the abolition of NEET, asking for support for its protest in Chennai. The poster from NSM said, "Students, artists, writers and political activists. Let's unite!"
On the other hand, actor-director Ken Karunaas shared on X, "Democracy is by the people, for the people. Questioning for our rights is not a crime—it's our duty. If our voices shake those in power, imagine the strength of an awakened youth. Never underestimate the power of India's youth. The coming days will speak for themselves."
Meanwhile, Anasuya Bharadwaj highlighted how the student protest against flaws in the education system shows where the Gen Z stands in relation to common public perception about them.
