

We had previously reported that actor Ravi Mohan will be joining hands with debut director GND Shyam Kumar for his next which will be backed by Romeo Pictures. While details of the project have been kept under wraps, speculations are rife about Sobhita Dhulipala playing the female lead in the film.
According to reports, the makers are currently in talks to bring the Made in Heaven star on board the film, which is expected to be titled as White. If the rumours turn out to be true, the film will mark Ravi Mohan and Sobhita's second collaboration after Ponniyin Selvan I and II (2022 and 2023), directed by Mani Ratnam. It will also be Sobhita's third Tamil film after Pa Ranjith's Vettuvam, which is yet to lock a release date.
Reportedly, Anirudh is composing music for the film which has already quietly gone on floors. A confirmation, however, is awaited from the makers regarding these details.
Ravi Mohan was last seen in Parasakthi, Sudha Kongara's period action drama based on the anti-Hindi agitation movement in the '80s. Headlined by Sivakarthikeyan, Ravi Mohan played the antagonist while Atharvaa and Sreeleela played key roles.
Ravi Mohan also has Karathey Babu, helmed by Ganesh K Babu of Dada fame, which hits the big screens on August 28. He is also filming his directorial debut An Ordinary Man starring Yogi Babu in the lead. Ravi is also part of Benz, the LCU film from director Bakkiyaraj Kannan. He also has multiple other projects in the pipeline, including the long-delayed Genie and Bro Code.
Sobhita, meanwhile, was last seen in the Telugu crime thriller film Cheekatilo, directed by Sharan Koppisetty and written by Chandra Pemmaraju. It was released directly on Prime Video on January this year.
