Actor Vaibhav, who was last seen in Chennai City Gangsters, is all set to star in the upcoming film titled Maaruvesham. Written and directed by Srini, the film marks the 30th project in Vaibhav's career.
Venkat Prabhu unveiled a title glimpse of the film which showed dolls version of all the characters in the movie played by Ramki, Bigg Boss Tamil-fame Viyana, Munishkanth, George Maryan, Livingston, Vivek Prasanna, Indhumathi and others being placed in front of a dead person in a massive mansion, almost as if setting the stage for a gripping murder mystery. George V, Cell Murugan , Mu.Ramasamy, Sebastian and others also star.
Towards the end, we see Vaibhav facing off against a masked man who seems to be the villain in the film. However, plot details have been kept under wraps for now.
On the technical team, Maaruvesham has music by Rajkumar Amal, cinematography by Balaji K Raja and editing by Srikanth NB. The upcoming film is produced by Vijay Anand and Vaibhav, under the Banner Oneiromancy Pictures & Monkey Man Company. A release date for Maaruvesham is yet to be revealed.
