Recently, we reported about Kishen Das and Sanjana Krishnamoorthy starring in a film titled See U. Earlier this Thursday, the makers of the film dropped a title teaser for it through the social media page of actor Dhanush. Quote tweeting Dhanush's post, Kishen Das wrote, "The most special person beings you a special first glimpse. Thank you so much for your support sir. It truly means the most to the team." Earlier in the day, Kishen announced the release date and timing of the glimpse video while expressing his admiration for Dhanush. "What more can we ask for? I’ve adored this man on screen and his work ethic is an inspiration. Always his biggest fan," the actor wrote.
The film is written and directed by Santhosh Srivatsan, who is known for shorts such as Vaal Natchathiram and Vanji. The official tagline for the film reads, "Sometimes the world needs a little less "goodbye" and a little more "See U"."
The glimpse video hints at a story where the male protagonist (Kishen Das) navigates the complexities of love. Going by the See U glimpse, it appears that the male lead finds love (Sanjana Krishnamoorthy) even as he tries to deal with his intense past. The title teaser offers a glimpse of an angry young man-like character from Kishen Das. The upcoming film also stars MS Bhaskar, Arun Kumar, Karthik Kumar, and Akshaya Hariharan, among others.
On the technical front, See U has music director Zenem, cinematographer Sandeep K Vijay, editor NB Srikanth, stunt choreographer Stunner Sam, and production designer Saravanan Vasanth. The upcoming film is produced by director Vijay, alongside Ajmal Khan and Reyaa H of the AR Entertainment banner. AR Entertainment is known as the producer of the Naveen Chandran starrer thriller Eleven, which released in theatres last year.
