Previously, we reported that Kannada actor Sharmiela Mandre got betrothed to Passion Studios producer Sudhan Sundaram last month. Now, details have emerged about the couple's wedding date, venue and the ceremonies that they're set to have.
Samode Palace in Jaipur has been chosen as the venue for the wedding festivities. Given the film background of the two, several leading film celebrities are expected to be a part of their two-day wedding ceremony.
On July 11, Haldi, Mehendi, and Sangeet ceremonies have been scheduled. On July 12, the wedding is set to happen, following traditional South Indian rituals. This is expected to be followed by a grand reception in the evening. The two got engaged on June 25.
Both Sudhan and Sharmiela have already reached Jaipur to oversee the wedding arrangements at Samode Palace. Among the star-studded guest list, director Atlee and actor Vijay Sethupathi are expected to be there.
Sharmiela Mandre has carved a niche for herself in South Indian cinema, not only as a talented actor but also as a successful producer. She made her acting debut in 2007 with the Kannada film Sajani and has since appeared in over 35 films, including Krishna, Navagraha, Aake, Gaalipata 2, and most recently, The Devil.
