On Thursday, director duo Pushkar & Gayatri unveiled the first look poster of Oh Butterfly, starring Lakshmipriyaa Chandramouli, Nivedhithaa Sathish, Nassar in lead roles. Written and helmed by Vijay Ranganathan in his debut directorial, the film also stars Bigg Boss Tamil-fame Ciby Chandran and Attul in key roles.
Plot details, the extended cast of the film and a tentative release date for the upcoming movie have been kept under wraps. However, Oh Butterfly is expected to be a mystery thriller.
On the technical team, the film has music by Vaisakh Somanath, cinematography by Vedaraman Sankaran and editing by Bhuvanesh Manivannan. The film has been backed by Vennky, Anand S Shah, Vijay Ranganathan and Nisha Patial with Palampur Talkies serving as co-producer. Anthill Cinema is the banner backing the film.
While Lakshmipriyaa was recently seen in the SonyLIV web series Kuttram Purindhavan, which received positive reviews, Nivedhithaa last made a cameo appearance in Halitha Shameem's Minmini in 2024. In the same year, Ciby Chandran, known for his stint in Bigg Boss Tamil season 5, acted in the suspense thriller film Idi Minnal Kadhal.
