After 100 days of intense drama inside the Bigg Boss mansion, actor and VJ Divya Ganesh made her entry on the 28th day as the winner of the reality show's ninth season.
It was already speculated on social media that Divya Ganesh is the title winner of this season. Aurora, Vikram, and Sabarinathan joined Divya in the finals. At the same time, Sabarinathan won the first runner-up and Vikram the second runner-up. Except for Divya, all the other finalists were a part of the show since Day 1.
Outside the Bigg Boss house, Divya is a familiar name in Tamil television. A native of Ramanathapuram, Tamil Nadu, she began her career as a video jockey before moving into acting. She made her acting debut in 2015 with Keladi Kanmani and later appeared in popular serials such as Vinnaithaandi Varuvaayaa, Lakshmi Vandhachu, Sumangali, Baakiyalakshmi, and Chellamma. In 2019, she also stepped into Telugu television with the serial Bhagyarekha.
Bigg Boss Tamil 9 premiered on October 5 and was replete with intense tasks, arguments, emotional breakdowns, and strategic gameplay. Hosted by Vijay Sethupathi, the season maintained consistent viewership and strong social media engagement, with several contestants frequently making headlines. He took over the hosting duties of the show from Kamal Haasan in the eighth season.
