On Monday, Tourist Family director and actor Abishan Jeevinth took to his official Instagram story to share a review of Kishen Das' latest romantic comedy, Aaromaley.
Sharing the film's poster, he wrote, "Sorry for coming late. Aaromaley is such a cute rom-com with so many lovely moments throughout the film. Kishen bro, so happy to see you in roles like this. Harshath Khan, Sarang Thiagu, congratulations, bro." (sic)
Kishen Das reshared his story and replied, "Thank you so much bro. Means a lot coming from the man behind my favourite film of 2025. Can't wait for With Love." (sic)
Aaromaley follows the story of Ajith (Kishen Das), who believes in love but cannot help other people find love after he joins a matrimony firm. As a last measure, he tries to help a middle-aged man, Narasimhan (VTV Ganesh), to find his love by referencing several popular films.
Aaromaley, which marked the directorial debut of Sarang Thiagu, also stars Shivathmikha, Harshath Khan, and VTV Ganesh in prominent roles. The film hit theatres on November 7 and opened to positive reviews. The film is now available to stream on JioHotstar.
An excerpt from CE's review for the film reads, "Filmmakers who usually provide a hat tip to another filmmaker subscribe to the ideas of the directors they are inspired by. But Sarang Thiagu's Aaromaley is an evolution from the dreamy ideas of life and love flirted with in Gautham Vasudev Menon's films to the realities of the same. Abishan Jeevinth is currently gearing up for the release of his acting debut, With Love, co-starring Anaswara Rajan. The film marks the directorial debut of Madhan, who previously worked as an assistant director to Abishan in Tourist Family and to Prabhu Ram Vyas in Lover. The film is all set to open in theatres on February 6.
