The makers of Bigg Boss Tamil-fame Vikraman's upcoming film, directed by Preethi Karikalan, had announced that the project had wrapped filming on Friday. The unit marked the completion of filming with a small cake cutting celebration, the pictures of which were shared extensively on social media.
The film, which was officially launched in September last year, is being produced by Thilakavathy Karikalan under the banner of Golden Gate Studios. Touted to be a romantic entertainer, the makers noted that the untitled film "will have an emotionally engaging narrative centered on relationships, humour, and heartfelt moments and that it has been crafted to appeal to family audiences while retaining a contemporary flavour."
Sharing details regarding the upcoming movie, producer Thilakavathy Karikalan said, "Completing a project on schedule requires commitment from every department, and our entire team rose to the occasion beautifully. The actors, technicians, and our director worked with remarkable dedication and positivity throughout the journey. We are now exploring the right window for release, and simultaneously, our marketing strategies are being planned carefully so that the film reaches audiences in the best possible way."
Besides Vikraman, the film also stars Supritha and Jenson Diwakar, among others. On the technical front, cinematography is by Sridhar with editing handled by Ramar. Ajesh Ashokan is composing its music.
Best known for his portrayal in Vinnaithaandi Varuvaayaa (2016), Vikraman appeared in Bigg Boss Tamil season 6 as a contestant and later emerged as the 1st runner-up.
