At the Thanksgiving event of his latest film, My Lord, Sasikumar opened up about the film's reach and how word-of-mouth brought in more audience to watch the film.

Sasikumar acknowledged that the film's first-day collections were underwhelming and worrying. "When we saw the first day’s collections, everyone felt a little worried. But I was confident," he said, adding how his faith proved to be true. "Everyone who watched the film said it was a good film. I had faith that it would definitely reach more people, and I’m happy that it has happened. The experience I had with Ayothi gave me that confidence. That film, too, picked up collections only in the second and third weeks. In the same way, I believe this film will also grow steadily. I have faith in the audience. The film will certainly reach where it is meant to."

He then had words of praise for his director, Raju Murugan. He shared, "As an actor, Raju Murugan has presented me in a completely different and beautiful light. I sincerely thank him for that." Apart from Sasikumar in the lead role, My Lord also stars Chaithra Achar. The cast of the film also includes Asha Sharath, Guru Somasundaram, Jayaprakash, Gopi Nainar, and Vasumithra. The technical crew of My Lord includes Nirav Shah as the director of photography, Sathyaraj Natarajan as the editor, and Muni Paulraj as the art director. Jayanthi Ambethkumar is producing the film. Olympia Films is the banner backing the film.
