Raveena Ravi, who is known for her work as an actor and a dubbing artist in films across languages, recently revealed the identity of twin brothers who have been stalking her and her family for three years. Posting their pictures on her Instagram, Raveena, daughter of dubbing artist-actor Sreeja Ravi, wrote, "I am posting this to protect my family, my friends, and myself from a stalker who has been harassing us for three years. I've stayed quiet hoping that police complaints and warnings would stop this. Unfortunately, a person named Sabarish and his twin brother continue to harass me, my family, and my friends."
Raveena also shared screenshots, alleging that the twins used obscene language against her in comments and messages that target her and her near and dear ones. The actor cum dubbing artist apologised to her family and friends for them enduring the same because of their affiliation with her.
"We have tried the legal route, but the harassment hasn’t stopped. Apparently he operates from multitudes of accounts and finds ways to stalk and harass not just me, but various other women actors and practitioners establishing made up scenarios of having "already met", "fixed marriage,"" Raveena Ravi wrote.
At the end of the long note, the actor requested other users to do three things:
"Block and Report his profile;
Be alert if you receive any messages from him or his brother;
And, do not engage with their comments or messages."
She talked about women's safety in Chennai as well. "Chennai is often called the safest city for women in India. I truly hope the authorities take action against such creeps to prove that this city is safe for everyone," the actor ended her note.
On the work front, she recently dubbed for Rajisha Vijayan's character in director Mari Selvaraj's Bison and for Athulya Ravi in Diesel. In Malayalam, she starred in director Muhashin's Vala: Story of a Bangle.
