Lover director Prabhuram Vyas has written a note wishing the team of With Love, starring Abishan Jeevinth and Anaswara Rajan, which is releasing in theatres on February 6. He also shared his thoughts after watching the film.
The filmmaker wrote, "Watched With Love. Such a refreshing, heart-warming romcom after ages! The film is a breezy blend of humour and romance that's a pure joy to watch." He went on to share that he particularly loved the final act where writing and performances "peak".
He congratulated cinematographer Shreyaas Krishna, with whom he collaborated in Lover, and praised his work, saying that his visuals "elevate the narrative beautifully." Praising the film's director Madhan, who he says is the "key pillar behind the making of Lover," of having arrived in style with With Love. He called the film a "well-deserved blockbuster" for the producers Soundarya Rajinikanth and his Lover backer Magesh Raj Pasilian.
With Love marks the directorial debut of Madhan, who worked as an assistant director to Abishan in Tourist Family. The film has Abishan and Anaswara as lovers, who take on a journey to confess their unsaid love to their old crushes.
Sean Roldan is composing music for the film, with cinematographer Shreyaas Krishna and editor Sureshkumar K rounding out the technical crew.
