With days to go for its theatrical release, director Madhan's romantic drama With Love, starring Abishan Jeevinth in his debut and Anaswara Rajan, is getting much appreciation from those in the Tamil film industry. Earlier, we reported about director Ranjit Jeyakodi, actor Manikandan, and producer Arun Vishwa praising the film. The latest to say positive words about the love story is director SP Sakthivel, known for titles such as Payanigal Gavanikkavum and Alangu.
Taking to his X handle, Sakthivel wrote, "With Love - Such an Original Writing: Each and every department hits a Sixer. A fun, nostalgic,emotional entertainer you can watch with ur GANG of Friends, Family and recollect ur "EX" memories ! In the 2nd half, a lot of theatrical moments keep on coming! Sure shot HIT."
The filmmaker made a special note of debutant director Madhan's work, calling him a "super find" for Tamil cinema. "Ur writing was Very original, u handled all the departments so well.. Keep rocking ur good work," he wrote about director Madhan. He also gave a shout out to the film's editor Suresh Kumar. "And one more great find Suresh Kumar. One of the recent best edit for me, keep rocking bro," the filmmaker shared.
According to the filmmaker, With Love offers a star-making turn for Abishan, known for his work as a director of last year's hit Tourist Family. He called Anaswara and other actors' work in the film "fabulous" and suggested that Sean Roldan's music is indispensable to the film. While noting that "every technician deserves" appreciation, he made a special mention of Mohan Rajan's lyrics. The filmmaker also appreciated the production values.
Produced by Soundarya Rajinikanth and Magesh Raj Pasilian, the film is slated for a February 06 release in theatres.
