The cast of the upcoming sports drama Attacker is expanding, as actor Varun has been announced to join the film. Nilavuku En Mel Ennadi Kobam-fame Pavish is leading the cast of the upcoming film.
Speaking about the film in a statement, Varun said, “Attacker is a very important film in my career. Playing an athlete and undergoing volleyball training has been a completely new and exciting experience for me. The film is not just about the sport; it is about passion, determination and the fight to achieve your dreams. I have put in a lot of effort for this character, and I am confident that audiences will see me in a completely different avatar. I am eagerly looking forward to bringing Attacker to the big screen.”
The cast of the film also includes Avantika, the daughter of Khushbu an Sundar C. Avantika is also working on the Malayalam film Aarambham. Pavish, who made his debut as an actor with NEEK, was last seen in Love Oh Love. Varun is known for his roles in LKG, Comali, and Joshua: Imai Pol Kaakka.
Attacker is directed by debutant Dhamo Naagapooshnam, with Dinesh Raj producing under the banner of Zinema Media.
