On Saturday, the makers of Once More dropped a trailer for it that lasts around two minutes and thirty seconds. The trailer hints at a story where a youngster (Arjun Das) struggles to come terms with his past relationship even as the new girl in his life (Aditi Shankar) tries to win over his love and affection. The film explores themes of second chances in life, the struggle for closure, and healing. Written and directed by debutant Vignesh Srikanth, Once More also has Sona Olickal in an important role. Sona plays one of the two love interests of Arjun's protagonist. The cast includes Devadarshini and Dravid Selvam, among others.
The film is produced by Yuvaraj Ganesan under the Million Dollar Studios banner. Writer-director Vignesh Srikanth also doubles up as the film's lyricist. On the technical front, it has composer Hesham Abdul Wahab who makes his Tamil debut with it. Known for his work in films such as Hridayam and Hi Nanna, among others, Hesham has had several Tamil releases since signing on to the Arjun Das starrer as its composer a couple of years ago.
The technical team also includes cinematographer Aravind Viswanathan, editor Nash, art director Raj Kamal, sound designer Renjith Venugopal, and costume designer Navadevi Rajkumar.
The cast and crew of Once More are in active promotions for the film in anticipation of its release. Meanwhile, the makers have released the juxebost from it and videos for multiple songs, out of which 'Vaa Kannamma' has been enjoying some popularity on social networking websites.
The drama shares the title with the 1997 film from director SA Chandrasekhar, which stars Sivaji Ganesan, Vijay, and Simran. It is set to hit theatres around the world on August 28, Friday.
