Director Ajay Gnanamuthu took to social media to share a note for actor-politician Vijay, a day before polling day for the Tamil Nadu Assembly Elections. Vijay is contesting for the first time in the elections under his Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam (TVK) party.
Taking to Instagram, the director wrote, "Though I always try to find logical reasons behind everything in life, but the mad love I have for you has no possible explanation at all. Adhellam sonna puriyadhu (Just words won't suffice). It’s something that you have earned so so strongly that makes us feel you are ours, you belong to us!! Been a diehard fan of yours from the day I started enjoying cinema. Most of my closest friends till date are the ones that joined together with me more than 20 years back to start our fan club for you!!"
He added, "Thanks for being my entire childhood. Thanks for being my first idol. Thanks for being my first and last superstar!! Thanks for being my orey thalaivan (only leader)!! Though it hurts that I won’t get to see you on screen anymore, May the almighty God always take care of you, Protect you from all harm and always keep you happy!! Bestest wishes for the new innings thalaiva!! Immeasurable Unconditional Love always!"
Vijay is contesting in two constituencies, Tiruchirappalli East and Perambur, in the Assembly Elections.
Meanwhile, director Ajay is gearing up for the release of Demonte Colony 3, which is yet to get a release date.
