

It is polling day at the Tamil Nadu Assembly Elections tomorrow, and many public figures, including actors, have been urging people to vote while hinting at where their allegiances lie. Earlier this Wednesday, actor Varalaxmi Sarathkumar came on video on social media and asked people to vote, underscoring that it is their responsibility to do so.
"You find numerous faults, such as with roads, electricity, and water supply. We have the answers to all these problems in our own hands. For one day, our lone weapon is the finger. Do not forget to vote. After that, no point raising complaints, because nobody would listen to you. So make use of your power, make sure you vote tomorrow, Tamil Nadu Elections, do not forget, vote," the actor said.
All eyes are on the main candidates at the Tamil Nadu Legislative Assembly Elections, including DMK's MK Stalin, AIADMK's Edappadi K Palaniswami (EPS), and actor and TVK chief Vijay. Speaking of which, earlier this Wednesday, actor Arun Vijay revealed through his Instagram Story that he is on his way to Chennai to cast his vote and urged people to do so. Interestingly, Arun Vijay pinned the song 'Whistle Podu,' from Vijay's film The Greatest of All Time (GOAT), to his Instagram Story. It is worth noting that Whistle is the symbol for Vijay's party TVK in the assembly elections. Arun Vijay has suggested that he is supporting Vijay and TVK in the event in Tamil Nadu politics.
With the results of the elections set to be announced on May 04, many, including those from the film industry, is looking forward to seeing whether Vijay would come out victorious in it. The actor is contesting in two constituencies.
