Sai Abhyankkar is currently busy with multiple film projects in his kitty. Parallely, he is also working on his independent singles. But the young composer has no intention to become an actor. Quashing a rumour that he is set to be launched by AGS Entertainment as a hero in their upcoming film, Sai reaffirmed that it was purely a buzz that is not true.
"I just signed with them to work in a big film. An announcement will officially arrive in due time. I will be composing music alone for it. I can't act. I don't know how to act!," he revealed in his latest interview with The Hollywood Reporter India.
When asked if acting in a film is not in his future plans, the Dude composer noted, "If it comes to me naturally, I will think about it. I don't have the talent to pull it off. Like music, the spark to act should be within us. I love to act, but I would want to do it in my music videos."
Sai made his feature debut with Balti (Malayalam) starring Shane Nigam. He delivered a hit album with his Tamil debut, Dude with all the songs, especially 'Oorum Blood', becoming viral across platforms, even months after the release.
Sai Abhyankkar is currently awaiting the release of Suriya's Karuppu, directed by RJ Balaji which releases in theatres on May 14. His upcoming slate also includes Allu Arjun-Atlee's highly anticipated project Raaka, Raghava Lawrence's Benz, directed by Bakkiyaraj Kannan; Karthi's Marshal from filmmaker Tamizh, and Dhanush's D55, helmed by Rajkumar Periasamy.
