It has been fifteen years since the release of Ko, starring Jiiva and directed by KV Anand. On the special occasion, the film's cinematographer Richard M Nathan reminisced about its impact on his career. The Ko cinematographer described his experience working on the film as "a 135 days roller coaster ride" and said that he "felt like serving the Army" on the project. Referring to his experience working with KV Anand on the film, the cinematographer added, "“JUST OBEY THE ORDER” is what I did all days. No questions asked, no doubts raised, I just did what he said and he made me the DOP of a blockbuster. Thank you KV Sir."
Ko tells the story of a photographer (Jiiva) who teams up with an investigative journalist (Karthika Nair) to look into the mysterious death of their colleague.
Earlier in the day, Jiiva reminisced about the film's 15th anniversary. Referring to the film's director and his character, Ashwin, in the film, Jiiva wrote, "On this day, I remember my most favourite KV Anand sir. I still remember the first phone call and the last message from you, sir. You were, you are, and you will always remain an ever-living genius. Thank you, sir. Thank you all for the love showered on Ashwin and the others."
Besides its fast-paced narration, the film is also known for its music, composed by Harris Jayaraj. Its soundtrack is full of popular numbers, such as 'Ennamo Yeadho' and 'Amali Thumali,' to name two.
