Announced back in 2024, Sannidhanam PO, starring Yogi Babu and directed by Amutha Sarathi, got its first single released.
Titled 'Yeri Vanthom Ayyappa,' the first single is a devotional track dedicated to the worship of Lord Ayyappan and the Sabarimalai pilgrimage. Composed by AGR, Abhishek Raju and Vishnu Ram have lent their vocals, helped by Mohan Rajan's lyrics.
Produced by Sarvata Cine Garage and Shimoga Creations, Sannidhanam (PO) is directed by Amutha Sarathi, who also handles the dialogues. The film is jointly produced by Madhusudhan Rao, V Vivekanandan, and Ramasamy Velu.
The film, marking Kannada actor Roopesh Shetty's Tamil debut, also stars Sithara, Pramod Shetty, Varsha Viswanath, Munnar Ramesh, Gajaraj, Raja Rudrakodi, Sathvick, Ashwin Hassan, Vinoth Sagar, Kalki Raja, Vishalini, Thashmika Lakshman and Madhusudhan Rao, among others.
Set for a release in Tamil, Kannada, Telugu, Malayalam, and Hindi, Sannidhanam (PO), according to the makers, is driven by human emotions and revolves around unexpected incidents faced by Ayyappan devotees and their transformation.
With a story and screenplay from Ajinu Ayyappan, the rest of the technical crew comprises cinematographer Vinoth Bharathi, editor PK, stunt choreographer Metro Mahesh, and art director Vijay Thennarasu. The makers have eyed a May release, without specifying a date.
