On the eve of the release of Vignesh Shivan's LIK: Love Insurance Kompany, starring Pradeep Ranganathan in the lead, Keerthiswaran, the director of Dude, took to social media to pen a note on the film's release. Dude, which was released in October 2025, was also headlined by Pradeep.
"Team Dragon and Team Dude wishes our dearest Star and brother PR a grand success for the LIK releasing tomorrow. you are an inspiration to one whole new gen Pradeep. Wikki (Vignesh Shivan) bro tomorrow the world will witness and cherish your vision," wrote Keerthiswaran. He also share a photo which featured Dragon's maker Ashwath Marimuthu, Pradeep Ranganathan, Vignesh Shivan, and himself.
After LIK was postponed from its planned release date of September 2025, it was set to open on October 17, 2025, the same date as the release of Pradeep's other feature Dude, but it was later postponed to December 2025. Later, the release date of LIK was announced to be April 10, after being postponed from its April 3 release.
LIK is set in the future where love is a business, in the midst of which one man tries to fight that established system. The cast of the film also features SJ Suryah, Krithi Shetty, Gouri Kishan, Shah Ra, and Seeman, among others.
