The makers of filmmaker-composer Hiphop Tamizha Adhi's Meesaya Murukku 2 have dropped the second single from the film, 'Pappali Pazhamey' on Wednesday.

The romantic kuthu number featuring Adhi and Chaithra Achar has the two sporting a retro look. Composed by Hiphop Tamizha Adhi, he has also sung it along with Gana Vinod and Gana Dharani. 'Pappali Pazhamey' is penned by KR Dharan.

The first single, 'Aura 10/10', turned into a favourite among Insta reel creators, thereby becoming an instant hit. Directed by Hiphop Tamizha Adhi, though the film's title is borrowed from his 2017 film, it is not a sequel.

The film also stars Ramya Ranganathan, Karunaas, Aadukalam Naren, Sha Ra, and Harshath Khan. It is set to take place in two timelines: one in the present day and one in the 80s. The story follows a musician who wants to showcase his talent, breaking stereotypes and prejudices inherent among classical Indian musicians.

While Hiphop Tamizha Adhi is writing and directing the film, along with writing lyrics and composing music for the film, Khushbu Sundar is producing the film under the Avni Movies banner, and ACS Arun Kumar is under the Benzz Media Pvt Ltd banner.

The crew of the film includes Balaji Subramanyam as the director of photography, Fenny Oliver as the editor, VS Dinesh Kumar as the art director, and Action Sandhosh as the stunt choreographer.
