Tovino Thomas is currently promoting his upcoming film, Pallichattambi, which is set to release on April 10. Directed by Dijo Jose Anthony, the film also stars Kayadu Lohar in the lead.
In a conversation with Sudir Srinivasan, when talking about inspiration, the actor said, "For different characters, that is something that Kamal Haasan does. And he is another superhuman, in my idea."
When asked about his favourite Kamal Haasan film, Tovino exclaimed, "Michael Madana Kama Rajan!"
He added, "The climax sequence of Michael Madana Kama Rajan, where four characters are coming in the same look. Everyone is wearing Madan's clothes, everyone is looking like Madan. But even if he is not talking, we understand from his body language, which character that is. That is a masterclass of acting."
Michael Madana Kama Rajan was directed by Singeetam Srinivasa Rao, and features Kamal in all four titular roles. The film was well recieved for its technical advancements.
