The actor's so-called '2 Rooba Idly' character made quite an impact on the audience's minds with his eccentricities and comic timing. The actor recently spoke exclusively to CE about his roles in Thaai Kizhavi and the latest series Muthu Engira Kaattaan, among other titles.
One of the points of discussion was about the next chapter in Sarpatta Parambarai, the 2021 Pa Ranjith directorial starring Muthukumar alongside Arya, Pasupathy, and Shabeer Kallarakkal, among others. Speaking about the recently announced Sarpatta Parambarai 2, the actor said, "I do not know whether it would be a prequel. I do not ask anything about it to Ranjith sir. When he asks me to get ready for it, I would be prepared. It might go on floors in June."
The 2021 sports drama stars Muthukumar as Thaniga, the uncle of actor Santhosh Prathap's character, an amateur boxer named Raman. The movie released on Prime Video because of the COVID pandemic-related restrictions on theatrical screenings at the time. It earned much critical acclaim and audience appreciation.
