We had earlier reported that actor Rio Raj will pair up with Malavika Manoj for the second time after Joe, in Aan Paavam Pollathathu.
The latest update is that the film will release in theatres on October 31. The teaser glimpse was earlier released during the intermission of Rajinikanth-Lokesh Kanagaraj's Coolie.
The previously released romantic song 'Jodi Porutham' has both leads enjoying the honeymoon phase of marriage. With the plot details under wraps, the film is expected to explore the complexities of a marriage after the honeymoon phase and how a modern-day couple navigates these complexities.
The makers have earlier said that the film will portray a husband who has a problem with his wife's progressive thinking. Apart from Rio and Malavika, the film also features the producer Vedikkaranpatti S Sakthivel and actors Sheela Rajkumar, Jenson Dhivakar, and RJ Vigneshkanth in pivotal roles.
Helmed by Kalaiarasan Thangavel, Aan Paavam Pollathathu is bankrolled by Drumsticks Production. With its late October release, the film is set to open in theatres after major Diwali releases, which are scheduled around October 20.
