
Silambarasan TR took to social media to mourn his co-star Robo Shankar. The actor passed away at 08:30 pm on September 18 after battling severe health issues.
On his X page, Silambarasan wrote, "I was deeply saddened to learn about the passing of actor Robo Shankar. Losing a man who always spread laughter saddens me greatly. His death is a great loss for the film industry and his fans, who hold him dear to their hearts. The memories of his laughter will always live within us. I pray to God for his soul to attain peace. My condolences to his family members."
Robo Shankar and Silambarasan starred together in Vantha Rajavathaan Varuven (2019). The film, which was directed by Sundar C, also starred Megha Akash, Cathrine Tresa, Nassar, and VTV Ganesh.
He was survived by his wife Priyanka, daughter Indraja, and one grandson. His last rites will be conducted at his house at Valasarvakkam, Chennai, on September 19.
