The next single from Dhanush's Idli Kadai, will release on September 17, at 11 am. The song is titled 'En Paattan Saami Varum' and will be composed by GV Prakash Kumar.
An audio launch event for the film was held on Sunday, September 14, that included the cast and crew of the film. Dhanush is directing the film, which is his second directorial of the year after Nilavuku En Mel Ennadi Kobam. It will also be the second film featuring Dhanush after Sekhar Kammula's Kuberaa.
The cast for the film includes Shalini Pandey, Nithya Menen, Samuthirakani, Raj Kiran, Sathyaraj, Parthiban, and Arun Vijay, amongst others.
GV Prakash Kumar is composing music for the film, continuing his collaboration with Dhanush after Nilavuku En Mel Ennadi Kobam. The rest of the technical crew of the film includes Kiran Koushik as the director of photography, Prasanna GK as the editor, Jacki as the art director, and Peter Hein as the stunt choreographer.
Dhanush produces the film under his Wunderbar Films banner, along with Aakash Baskaran, who is producing under his Dawn Pictures banner. Inban Udhayanidhi, son of Tamil Nadu's Deputy Chief Minister Udhayanidhi Stalin, will get his first film credit as a presenter for Idli Kadai.
