Lokah actor Naslen reveals getting praise from Suriya and Jyotika: 'Surprised by the things happening in life...'

Actor Naslen, who recently played the lead role alongside Kalyani Priyadarshan in the recent hit Lokah Chapter 1: Chandra, had revealed that a surprise call from Suriya and Jyotika made him happy and grateful. Speaking to press and media during the success meet of the film that happened in Chennai, Naslen expressed his disbelief on the unexpected happy incidents that life is throwing at him.

"I don't know what to say. I am very happy. It's surprising for me, so many unexpected incidents are happening in my life. This morning, Suriya and Jyotika spoke to me on a video call and appreciated the film. I am truly grateful and humbled by the opportunities I am getting in life," Naslen said.

Naslen has been having a dream run in his career ever since Premalu, directed by Girish AD catapulted him to fame. Before Lokah, I Am Kathalan and Alappuzha Gymkhana were also received with positive responses at the box office.

The film, released on August 28, has been receiving praise from across the country and has already crossed the Rs 100 crore mark at the global box office, setting a new benchmark for female-led South Indian cinema. Directed by Arun Dominic and produced by Dulquer Salmaan under the Wayfarer Films banner, Lokah Chapter 1: Chandra is positioned as the first instalment in a five-part fantasy franchise inspired by Kerala’s folklore.

Apart from Kalyani and Naslen, Chandu Salimkumar and Arun Kurian play supporting roles. Tamil actor-choreographer Sandy appears as the antagonist. Actor Santhy Balachandran contributed to the additional screenplay and dramaturgy. Nimish Ravi, Chaman Chakko, and Jakes Bejoy formed the technical crew as the cinematographer, editor and music director respectively.

With the Tamil version of the film already out in theatres along with the Malayalam original, the Hindi-dubbed version hit theatres across North India on September 4.
