Sivakarthikeyan, who has witnessed back-to-back successes in the last three years with Maaveeran, Amaran and the latest actioner Madharaasi, was seen visiting noted Bollywood director Sanjay Leela Bhansali's office in Mumbai. The video of his visit has currently been widely circulated on social media, sparking rumours about their potential collaboration for either his upcoming film or a future project. Although no announcement or a photo from the director's office has been revealed yet, fans speculate that he might soon make his Bollywood entry. If the rumours turn out to be true, Sivakarthikeyan would finally have his dream debut in the Hindi industry, paving way for his nationwide recognition.

The actor has also been consistently backing talented directors and projects that have gone on to become critically acclaimed films. In 2024, he backed Kurangu Pedal and Kottukkaali, both of which were met with positive response from audiences and critics. This year, he presented House Mates, directed by Raja Vel, and starring Darshan and Kaali Venkat in lead roles. This film was also a successful outing for him.

FIR against Sanjay Leela Bhansali over Love & War dispute

Director Sanjay Leela Bhansali last made the series Heeramandi: The Diamond Bazaar for Netflix. His last theatrical outing was Alia Bhatt's Gangubai Kathiawadi, released in 2022. The filmmaker is currently busy with the production of Love & War. Billed as an "epic saga", the upcoming film features Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt and Vicky Kaushal in the lead roles. The movie is slated to be released in theatres in 2026.

Meanwhile, Sivakarthikeyan is awaiting the release of Parasakthi, Sudha Kongara's political period drama film, which features Ravi Mohan as the antagonist and Sreeleela as the female lead in her Tamil debut. Based on true events, the story reportedly revolves around the Anti-Hindi agitations in Tamil Nadu that happened in 1965.
